This is a Visual Studio bug where the Functions project deployment deletes the SQL CLR assemblty but then cannot recreate it.

The solution is to restart SQL, restart Visual Studio, and then Deploy the Functions project.

This VS bug was actually there in 1.2 as well.  Big Smile

Thanks!
Mike

For best service when you require assistance:

  1. Check the DisallowedAbsoluteUris and Exceptions tables first.
  2. Cut and paste actual exceptions from the Exceptions table.
  3. Include screenshots.

Hello!

I'm receiving exactly the same error tons of times during the crawling. I didn't managed to solve it, even after restarting Sql Server and VS 2008, and cleaning the whole solution.

Hmm... the way I have solved this, historically, is to restart SQL, restart VS and then explicitly deploy the Functions project.  As far as I can tell, this is a MS bug.

I run Windows 7 Ultimate x64 for my dev machine.

Could you take a screenshot of your SQL object browser?
