AN is currently designed for a single machine and there are a few others little things we're going to add in the way of user-requested plug-ins before we make the move to distributed crawling.

Yes. The license permits you to do whatever you want with the code. We have no claims to whatever you create with it. arachnode.net is bascially as free as it gets. :)

I've been following your project with great interest. I hope to use it to try and aggregate different RFP opportunities in the public sector. I'm finding that the challenge is in trying to parse out the relevant pieces of data and put them in a database that would make sense to an application. I'm sure that's the struggle in doing anything like this.
Does anyone have any specific experience with something like that? Maybe someone who has done something similar with job postings or something?
I look forward to getting things working so I can test this out.
